My no makeup – makeup routine

Well,  you must know that I love makeup, and how makeup makes me feel. I don’t wear makeup every single day but if I have to go out, I just want to feel more confidant and ok with myself. Even thought i love it in general I don’t like colorful makeup on myself, i just don’t think that looks good on me so Ialways go for a more natural look, especially on daytime. At nightime I might get involved with all smokey eye thing but i love basics on a (almost) daily basis. So I want to share with you the steps I make to achieve an almost flawless look, non looking at all that I have any makeup. OH, i wanted to say that my skin has some imperfections, like discoloration, redness around my nose and imperfections in general, so that been told let’s start.

Prepare your skin with a proper skincare. (this will be a topic for a next post) you know, face cleanser, toner and moisturizer.

Prime your skin. I used ti skip this part but since I discovered the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser, i noticed that my makeup goes on better and it give me more wearability during the day.

Foundation. Lately, I’ve been using the L’real True Match foundation, the one that everyone on Youtube talks about, and to be honest it does miracles on my oily skin. It stays on for about 8 to 9 hours with no touch up, and for the past few weeks I’ve been appling it with a damp beauty blender. I love how this two work together and the finish is perfect for me.

Concelear. I have very bad dark circles so the concelear is my holy grail. i aply it in a triangular shape under my eyes and buff it in with the beauty blender or a brush so it works as a highlighter too.

Fix everything in place with some powder. On a daily basic I fix my foundation and concelear with translucent loose powder but if I want some more coverage I’ll just use my all time favorite pressed powder, the Rimmel London – Stay matte.

Bronze and contour. For a more natural look I bronze up a little my face on the spots that are naturally hit by the sun and I also use it to contour under my cheeck bones.

Blush. I give my cheecks some colour using a little bit of blush. Lately I’ve been using the Sephora Artist blush in coral.

Eyebrows. They are very important to me, even when I’m not doing a full face makeup I fill in my brows. I think they complete your face and can make the difference. I like using brow pencil just beacuse I think it’s faster and easier. For the past few months I’ve been using the Essence brow pencil and the teinted brow gel from Maybelline just to make them stay in place.

Eyes. I usually curl my lashes, put on some mascara (lately I’m loving the L’oreal Miss Manga) and then curl them a little bit (I know it’s not good) just because I have very soft lashes and they point downwards so I need and extra curl.

Lips. While I’m doing my makeup I put on some lip butter (love the Nivea Vanilla and Macadamia one) then I always go for a nude liquid lipstick, lip liner or lipstain.
