My daily workout routine

Hello gorgeous! I’ve been a little lazy lately, and definitely my inspiaration ran away from me these days, so that’s the main reason I didn’t post as usual. But now I’m back on track and here I am with my workout routine. I also combine it with a healthy meal plan but that’s a subject for another post 😀

Some of you might already know, but some don’t, so here il the link to my weight loss journey post, if you want to see from where I’ve started.

For the past two and a half weeks I’ve been going to the gym every single day (I know that you’re supposed to take a break but yeah I’m a little masochist) and are couple of days now that I improved my workout, as a matter of fact right now I feel so sore that I can’t even sit on my butt, or laugh beacuse my abs hurt so bad 😀 But I always thought that if it doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t work so I just keep going no matter what.

My workout consists in one day lower body and one day upper body, then start all over again, but every single day I do cardio for half an hour, so my total workout takes about an hour and a half.

Cardio

I run on the treadmill for 30 minutes everyday. I start with a 10 minutes walk at about 6 km/h with an inclintion of 8 (on a scale of 1 to 10). then speed it up to a run of 10 km/h for 3 minutes and slow again to 6km/h for 2 minutes and I go like this 4 times until I end the 30 minutes.

Abs

Besides doing crunches on the bench (3 sets of 15) and also oblique crunches (3×15), I found this video that is amazing. While you’re doing the series you can definitely feel your muscles burn and work a lot.

Arms

I don’t do much for my arms, I know I should but I tend to neglect this part of my body. 😦 I use weights and do some exercises. I also use the Chest Press machine and the Lat Pull-Down machine for my back muscles too.

Legs

I love the Leg press and the Leg extension machines. They work really good on me and I’ve started both at a weight of 20 kg and how I’m almost 60 😀 Feeling proud 🙂 I also squat (3 series of 15) and do 40 lunges, 20 for each leg, carrying a 5 kg weight per hand.

To end the workout I walk for 5 to 10 minutes just to relax my muscles. This is all for now, I’m sure that this routine will change in a few weeks but is what I do now, it works well on me and I just wanted to share it with you my friends.  🙂 ❤

    This sounds good! I’m trying to go to the gym as much as I can but I don’t have the most motivation! I do a lot of cardio then a few weights like the leg extension. Like you, I never tend to do much on my arms. I really should start doing regular crunches and squats etc. too because I want my summer body! X
